Who Was Up and Down During College Football’s First Weekend

The first week of college football was full of surprises and disappointments; it is what makes college football worth watching. College football is exciting, surprising and unpredictable all at once. There was some really bad news for the Michigan Wolverines, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and Florida State Seminoles.

First the Wolverines managed to get beaten by Division 1-AA Appalachian State 34-32 on their home field as 110,000 fans watched in the Big House at Ann Arbor. Michigan went into the game ranked No. 5 in both preseason polls. ข่าวบอล When the poll results came out Tuesday following Saturday’s game, Michigan dropped out of the poll completely.

It marked the first time that a team ranked that high had completely dropped out the poll since the AP Poll was expanded to 25 teams in 1989. Since the death of the legendary Bo Schembechler, the Wolverines have gone 0-3 and given up 108 points.

“I wouldn’t want to be on their practice field Tuesday,” said victorious Appalachian State Coach Jerry Moore.

To compare the two football programs, Appalachian State’s football budget is $1.5 million, and Michigan is in the middle of a $226 million renovation of its stadium. I would say forget the renovation and get some real players at Michigan. The upset has already been called by many sports pundits and followers as the biggest upset in the history of college football since a AA team has never beaten a ranked team in NCAA play.

Then Notre Dame got a prime whipping from Georgia Tech 33-3. The game marked the most lopsided opening game loss in Notre Dame history, and first time the Irish have failed to score a touchdown in an opener since 1985.

Geez, where is the offense? Charlie Weis is all about offense, but the Irish have clearly suffered from defensive weaknesses the past two seasons. I am part Irish and a Notre Dame fan. I want to see Weis succeed big time at Notre Dame. Weis is starting his third season and this opening game loss does not bode well for Notre Dame.

Gambling With Algorithmic Betting Systems

At one time or another, haven’t we all wished that we could just know the outcome of our favorite teams game. Hollywood has even glorified that wish in several movies; one movie in particular was “Back to the Future”. For those readers that don’t know to what movie I am referring, one of the main characters of the movie travels from the future with a sports almanac and gives it to his past self and forever changes his future. Armed with the knowledge of the all sporting events 50 years into the future, the characters past self places his first wager and magically changes his future with unbelievable wealth and power by using the information from the sports almanac.

Although this may be an absurd example, many of Hollywood writers do mix truth with UFABET fiction and they do it very well. What if I were to say that one can know the future; to know the future well enough that one could wager bets and be completely free from fear and anxiety. All because this person knew the final outcome of the wager.

Well I hope that you said “No Way” or “That’s not possible”; the truth is that no one can know the outcome of future events. However, that future is now closer than one thinks.

Today’s technological break-through’s appear to be nothing short of small miracles; Google is one of the best examples of a break-through technology. Google uses an algorithmic search every time to deliver the best option suited for every search request. During those searches, Google collected immense amounts of data on its patrons that would use their services. This data collection was not malicious in nature but merely to compile a dossier on each user in order to better target its patrons with relevant services. For example, users that searched on Google for fashion trends for next spring would be targeted by Google for shoes, handbags, and jewelry. How does Google carry out this feat with information that is kept private and secure? It is all accomplished by a procedure that is known as data mining.

How is data mining relevant to online betting and gambling? Imagine what the possibilities would be if someone was able to successfully data mine your favorite NFL teams past, and present statistics. What if they could successfully plug in all the data for the entire NFL. How valuable would that be? Well you forget listening to the bartender at the local pub or posting up at the water cooler at work to get the latest tips and recommendations. Quite a few companies have set out and only a handful have successfully implemented an algorithmic betting system.

What is an algorithmic betting system or ABS? An ABS is basically a robotic betting system; a system that can completely remove the emotional factor of wagering for the good ole’ alma mater to win just because or going with the “Gut Feeling”. These systems take all the data available like coaches, front office management, star players, bench warmers, home field advantage, injured reserves, weather, and many other factors into consideration. The more data that is present for the pick, the more accurate a selection can be made with confidence.

Successes with these algorithmic betting systems are riddled with success stories but before diving in head first, do the research before making the initial investment.

Let’s be clear, online betting and gambling is nothing more than guess-work. No one, no thing, and no computer program can perfectly predict the outcome of future events. However, if you are armed with enough correct information, then you can make the best educated guess possible. If you are going to play, then please play responsibly; play responsibly by utilizing one of the best hi tech algorithmic betting systems available.
